Using a CRB (Counter Rotating Brush) machine to agitate Prespray on carpets…
This method is particularly effective for commercial carpet cleaning or heavily soiled areas, where deep agitation helps to achieve superior results.
Methodology:
- After pre-vacuuming the carpet to remove any dry soil, apply a suitable prespray to the carpet.
- Set up the CRB machine. It has two cylindrical brushes that rotate in opposite directions, the machine should be guided over the pre-sprayed area, where the rotating brushes will agitate the pre-spray deep into the carpet pile which will help emulsify and loosen soils.
- After the agitation, use hot water extraction with an applicable rinse to remove the loosened soils and cleaning agents.
The action of the CRB will help to lift and revitalise the carpet because the brushes reach deep into the carpet pile allowing cleaning agents in the prespray work more effectively, this allows for better soil breakdown without excessive moisture guaranteeing shorter drying times.
