Carpet cleaning using a Rotary Jet Extractor such as the Rotovac 360i is a highly effective method for deep-cleaning carpets, combining rotary agitation with Hot Water Extraction. 

Methodology:

• After pre-vacuuming the carpet to remove any dry soil, apply a prespray to the carpet. The type of prespray used will depend on the fibre type and the level of soiling. 

   

• This solution helps break down oils, dirt, and stains in the fibres. 
• The Rotary Extraction Power Head is attached to a carpet cleaning machine, the size is dependent on whether a truck-mounted or portable extractor is being used. 
• The power head features a rotating mechanism with multiple jets and vacuum slots. As it rotates, the jets spray hot water or cleaning solution onto the carpet, while the vacuum simultaneously extracts the moisture, dirt, and cleaning solution. 
• The combination of rotation and extraction allows for deep penetration into the carpet fibres and provides mechanical agitation, loosening embedded dirt and grime more effectively than traditional wand-based extraction. 
• Multiple passes of the rotary head ensure even cleaning, and the continuous extraction prevents overwetting, reducing the risk of extended drying times.
