Actichem Deostor Fire is a professional-grade, highly versatile odour neutraliser designed to eradicate stubborn smoke and soot smells following property fires. Powered by advanced Elimotech micro-molecular technology, it pairs directly with malodour compounds to permanently eliminate them instead of masking them with heavy perfumes. It is highly flexible and can be used as a standalone treatment, applied via a cold/wet fogger, or mixed directly into fire restoration detergents (such as Actichem Fire Restore and Fire Fix) to destroy smoke particles during the structural wash-down step. Safe for carpets, fabrics, garments, and most water-cleanable hard surfaces.

Available in two specialized variations:

• Citrus (AP521): Particularly effective against smoke odours caused by protein, paper, and timber fires.

• Floral (AP522): Engineered specifically to combat tough synthetic and plastic fire residues.

Deostor Fire – Citrus is formulated to be applied as a stand-alone treatment or added to the fire restoration detergent. Ideal for initial knock-down on job entry or/and as an additive to Fire Restore and Fire Fix for tackling smoke odour molecules during the wash down step.
Deostor Fire – Citrus is also extremely effectively when applied using a cold/wet fog process.

  Do not add to oxidising and chlorine solutions without consulting an Actichem technician.

How to use

Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for substrate sensitivity to chemicals. Observe all safety directions and read the SDS before use.
Deostor Fire – Citrus is safe when used as directed.

Dilutions

• Add 20-40ml per litre of water (1:50 – 1:25) dependent on odour conditions.
• Add 40ml per litre of water (1:25) for initial knock-down applications
• Add 10-30ml per litre of ready-to-use restoration solution.
• For severe situations, mix 50ml Deostor Fire – Citrus + 10ml Deostor Extreme per litre of water.
• For laundering, add 5-10ml per kg of washing.

Application

OPTIONAL – apply initial knock-down solution using a pressure sprayer or by wet/cold fog.

1. Physically remove charred items which are to be disposed of.
2. Add Deostor Fire – Citrus to fire remediation solution as per mixing guide above.
3. Remediate the affected area using this solution following professional restoration techniques.
4. Following completion of the restoration process, thermal fog the affected area with Odourtak or pressure spray apply Deostor Spray. This will treat any micro-molecules which have escaped the remediation clean.

Post thermal fogging is particularly applicable for persistent odours and for restricted access areas such as attics, sub-floors, cupboard interiors, etc.
