Usage & Application Instructions:
Pre-Test Notice: Always pre-test carpet in an inconspicuous location for chemical sensitivity and dye stability prior to full application.
Application Steps:
- Dry Particulate Vacuuming: Thoroughly dry vacuum the carpet to remove loose surface dirt and particulate soil.
- Dilution: Mix 250ml of Encap Plus with 8 Litres of clean water (1:32 ratio) in your machine’s solution tank or a compression sprayer.
- Application: Apply the solution evenly onto the carpet via the machine solution tank or a coarse spray. (1L of mixed solution covers approximately 5m² to 20m² depending on carpet pile density).
- Agitation: Scrub/agitate the treated area using a counter-rotating brush (CRB) machine, or a low-speed rotary scrubber fitted with a carpet brush or white pad.
- Drying: Allow the carpet to dry completely (typically 30 to 60 minutes) before re-opening the area to foot traffic.
- Recovery: Encapsulated soils will be completely removed during subsequent routine dry vacuuming. (Allow at least 24 hours of dry-down time before the next thorough vacuum pass).
