High-Level Decontamination with Actichem RestorCide

Note: Sold in Australia as Actichem Percide – is TGA listed.

Actichem RestorCide represents the definitive choice for technicians handling hazardous biological contaminants. In Category 3 water damage situations, the risk of disease and infection is high; RestorCide is technically balanced to penetrate organic matter and neutralise pathogens, ensuring the property is safe for both workers and occupants.

Why Restoration Professionals Choose RestorCide

  • Hospital Grade Efficacy: Tested and proven to eliminate a wide spectrum of pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

  • Mould & Spore Control: Acts as a powerful fungicidal treatment, making it an essential tool during the “rip-out” and drying stages of mould remediation.

  • Sewage (Black Water) Specialist: Specifically designed to break down and sanitise the complex biological loads found in sewage overflows and organic decay.

  • Multi-Surface Compatibility: Safe for use on most hard surfaces, including concrete, structural timber, and tiled areas.

  • Industrial Odour Destruction: Unlike perfumes that mask smells, RestorCide attacks the biological source of the odour, permanently removing the scent of decay or stagnation.

  • Concentrated Restoration Strength: Highly economic dilution ratios allow for large-scale application via pressure sprayers or fogging equipment.

Application & Safety Protocol

  1. Preparation: Remove all bulk organic soiling (sewage, debris) before application to ensure the biocide reaches the substrate.

  2. General Sanitisation: Dilute 1:50 (20ml per Litre) for standard disinfection.

  3. Heavy Decontamination (Category 3): Dilute 1:10 (100ml per Litre) for sewage, trauma, or high-load organic contamination.

  4. Application: Apply via spray or mop. Ensure a minimum 10-minute wet dwell time for full microbial knockdown.

  5. Safety: This is a professional biocidal product. Always use appropriate PPE, including gloves, eye protection, and respirators during application.

Actichem RestorCide (AP490) is a professional-grade, hospital-level disinfectant and biocidal cleaner designed for the most demanding restoration environments. Formulated specifically for the New Zealand restoration industry, Actichem RestorCide provides rapid and complete elimination of bacteria, fungi, and mould spores. Whether you are managing sewage backflows, grey-water floods, or trauma scene decontamination, this potent biocide ensures the highest level of environmental safety. Its advanced chemistry not only kills microorganisms on contact but also eliminates the associated malodours, providing a critical “clean start” for any remediation project.

Application – Mould Remediation
RestorCide’s potentiated peroxide formula, has several innovative design features to provide consistent, reliable results in mould remediation every time. It’s aggressive reaction with mould can be seen by the rapid fizzing when it contacts mould and organic matter. This action also lifts embedded soiling allowing high performance mould reduction even on soiled and porous substrates.

Application – Cat 3 Water and Bio-hazard Decontamination
RestorCide’s primary function is to provide rapid, powerful pathogen eradication even in the presence of organic soil. Promoting this function is RestorCide’s deep pore penetration ability, making it the ideal decontamination and restoration tool for trauma, category 3 water and bio-contamination applications. RestorCide leaves no oily or toxic residue and can be left as residual after clean-up is complete. RestorCide is active against gram positive and negative bacteria, moulds, spores, enveloped and non-enveloped (lipid & non-lipid) viruses with high log reduction / kill rates
