Total Bio-Hazard Elimination with Actichem RestorCide 20L

Actichem RestorCide represents the gold standard in biocidal technology. In the high-stakes world of forensic restoration and flood remediation, standard cleaning chemicals often fail to reach the microbial loads required for safe re-occupancy. RestorCide (Percide) utilizes unique oxidising technology that penetrates porous substrates, drawing out and destroying contaminants that other disinfectants merely mask.

Why Restoration Experts Trust the RestorCide Formula

  • Active Oxygen Power: The hydrogen peroxide-based formula creates a physical reaction on contact with organic matter, lifting stains and “foaming” out contaminants from timber and concrete.

  • Broad-Spectrum Biocide: Proven efficacy against bacteria, fungi, and mould, making it an essential tool for “black water” sewage backflows and trauma scene cleaning.

  • Mould Spore Destruction: Unlike many treatments that only kill the visible growth, RestorCide targets the spores to prevent re-colonisation.

  • No Toxic Residues: Breaks down into water and oxygen, making it a safer choice for indoor air quality post-remediation compared to harsh phenolic or chlorine-based products.

  • Bulk 20L Economy: This industrial drum size provides the lowest cost-per-litre, critical for large commercial floods or extensive mould remediation in social housing and high-density buildings.

  • Odour Neutralisation: Permanently removes the biological source of “death smells,” damp mustiness, and sewage malodours.

Professional Decontamination Guide

  1. Preparation: Clear all bulk waste and debris from the site.

  2. General Disinfection: Dilute 1:20 to 1:50 depending on the level of microbial load.

  3. Category 3 (Sewage/Trauma): Use at 1:10 for maximum biocidal activity. Ensure the surface remains wet for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Mould Remediation: Apply via a low-pressure sprayer to affected timber or drywall. For deep penetration, agitate into the material.

  5. Safety First: This is a high-strength oxidiser. Always wear appropriate PPE, including chemical-resistant suits, eye protection, and P2/P3 respirators.

Engineered to handle the most hazardous environments, Actichem RestorCide provides a rapid 3-log kill on bacteria, viruses, and mould spores. Its advanced hydrogen peroxide-based formula is specifically designed for New Zealand’s flood and trauma restoration industry, effectively neutralising Category 3 (Black Water) contamination and eradicating persistent mould infestations. This bulk format ensures maximum cost-efficiency for large-scale remediation projects where absolute decontamination is non-negotiable.

Application – Mould Remediation
RestorCide’s potentiated peroxide formula, has several innovative design features to provide consistent, reliable results in mould remediation every time. It’s aggressive reaction with mould can be seen by the rapid fizzing when it contacts mould and organic matter. This action also lifts embedded soiling allowing high performance mould reduction even on soiled and porous substrates.

Application – Cat 3 Water and Bio-hazard Decontamination
RestorCide’s primary function is to provide rapid, powerful pathogen eradication even in the presence of organic soil. Promoting this function is RestorCide’s deep pore penetration ability, making it the ideal decontamination and restoration tool for trauma, category 3 water and bio-contamination applications. RestorCide leaves no oily or toxic residue and can be left as residual after clean-up is complete. RestorCide is active against gram positive and negative bacteria, moulds, spores, enveloped and non-enveloped (lipid & non-lipid) viruses with high log reduction / kill rates
