The Drymatic Boost Bar can be fitted with a 90 degree adaptor that redirects airflow either upwards or downwards, giving structural drying technicians precise control over exactly where heated air goes on a job — without needing to reposition the entire Boost Bar unit itself.
Directing Air Downward — Subfloors and Crawlspaces
When facing downwards, the adaptor is ideal for channelling heated air into a crawlspace or subfloor environment. Simply cut a small section of the subfloor and focus the airflow directly through the opening — a straightforward way to introduce heated air into spaces that are otherwise difficult to dry effectively.
Directing Air Upward — Room and Ceiling Applications
If you need to direct airflow up into the room — for example, to help maintain ambient temperature — rotate the adaptor 180 degrees. Need to direct heated air into a ceiling instead? Attach 600mm lay-flat ducting to the 90 degree adaptor and duct heated air straight into the ceiling void, extending the reach of a single Boost Bar across multiple structural areas.
