The DBK Drymatic Boost Bar MKII 6 heater unit is the next generation of the Boost Box, further expanding the ability to deliver targeted heat to wet structures. Built for fast, efficient target drying, this MkII upgraded high power model gives restoration technicians a flexible, purpose-built heat source at the centre of the entire Drymatic drying system.
PTC Heating and Smart Power Control
The Boost Bar uses PTC heating technology, which automatically adjusts heater power to suit the environment it’s working in — rather than running at a fixed output regardless of conditions. This means the unit responds intelligently to the job at hand, helping manage both drying effectiveness and energy use without requiring constant manual adjustment.
User-Friendly Digital Control
A touch screen interface puts real-time information directly in the technician’s hands. The home screen displays air in/air off temperature feedback, heater power readout and the number of heater banks running, machine status, airflow detection, hours run and kWh meters, maximum temperature limit settings, a current limiter for sites with reduced power availability, and graphical machine life and diagnostics data, including average temperature differential and power consumption by day. That level of visibility gives technicians genuine control and job-site accountability that older, dial-based heaters simply can’t match.
Secure Settings
A pin lock facility prevents machine settings from being adjusted by homeowners or others on site — protecting the drying programme you’ve set from being accidentally or deliberately changed once you’ve left the property.
Durable, Practical Build
Weighing just 7.6kg, the Boost Bar is roto-moulded and stackable, with the chassis allowing stacking in two orientations for added stability during transit. It’s a genuinely light, transport-friendly unit for a piece of equipment delivering this level of targeted heat output.
