The Upholstery Fabric Protector (5 Ltr) is a professional-grade, water-based fabric treatment designed to provide long-lasting protection for upholstery and other fabric surfaces. This ready-to-use spray solution forms an invisible barrier that helps repel spills, stains, and everyday soiling, making ongoing maintenance easier and extending the life of your upholstery.

Formulated with odourless mineral spirits and Acrylic Fluoropolymer C6 technology, this protector delivers advanced stain resistance without altering the look or feel of the fabric. It should only be applied to freshly cleaned fabrics that are free of excess shampoo or detergent residues to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Application:

  • Ready to spray, do not dilute.
  • Equipment preparation: Pour the fabric protector into the sprayer in a well ventilated area. Pressurize the container per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Spray Area preparation: Spray the furniture in a well ventilated area to assist drying time. If you can not get proper ventilation through the area we recommend the use of an airmover. Minimise exposure to others by limiting the number of people in the area while spraying the product.
  • Spray applicator must be: An airless, pressure type sprayer operated at 30-45 psi. Power sprayers must not be used. Resistant to chemicals, including gaskets, fitting, hose etc Fitted with stainless steel or brass spray tip size 6502 Used for fabric protector only.
  • Spraying: Hold the spray gun approx, 30 to 60 centimetres from the furniture to be treated. Use a smooth, swinging back and forth motion, slightly overlapping previous passes to ensure finish is evenly applied, avoid over-application. Use approx 80 to 90 mls per square metre on fabric. Allow the fabric to dry before moving and/or packing the furniture.
