Kemsol K-Slik Neutral Cleaner is a highly dilutable neutral detergent built for cleaning hard surfaces — particularly those coated in a protectant or floor polish, where the wrong cleaner can do real damage to an otherwise well-maintained finish.
Why Neutral pH Matters for Polished Floors
Polished surfaces simply cannot afford high-pH cleaners due to their stripping characteristics. A standard alkaline or high-pH cleaner will gradually degrade a polished finish with every clean, dulling the shine and shortening the coating’s working life. K-Slik’s neutral pH of 9.0 avoids this entirely, making it the ideal solution for expensive, high-finish floors that need regular cleaning without the risk of stripping the coating underneath.
Highly Dilutable, Adaptable to the Job
For most general wet mopping applications, K-Slik is used at a ratio of 1:50 (a 2% solution, or 20ml per litre) with potable water. This can be adjusted stronger or weaker depending on the level of soiling present and the sensitivity of the specific floor coating being cleaned — giving cleaning teams flexibility to match dilution to the actual condition of the floor rather than using a single fixed ratio regardless of soil load.

K-Slik is designed to work alongside Kemsol K-Buff as part of a full floor maintenance routine: clean and prepare the floor with K-Slik, then apply K-Buff to restore gloss and remove scuffs and scratches from the existing finish.
