Viruclear 20L from Virulabs is a concentrated, broad-spectrum surface sanitiser engineered for environments where fast, reliable pathogen control is critical. Built around Stabilised Hydrogen Peroxide (SHP) combined with specialist surfactants, Viruclear works as an oxidant — producing hydroxyl free radicals (OH) that attack the essential components of microorganisms, including lipids, proteins, and DNA/RNA. The result is a highly effective sanitiser that disrupts pathogens at a cellular level rather than simply masking them.

How It Works
The efficacy of any bactericide or virucide depends on sanitiser concentration and contact time. Laboratory results have shown 0.5% hydrogen peroxide to be effective against coronaviruses in as little as 60 seconds — and the longer the contact time, the greater the efficacy. Viruclear is formulated to leave minimal residue, so in most cases it doesn’t need to be rinsed off. Where time allows, wiping the surface with a damp cloth helps remove biofilm — a protective layer bacteria and viruses build up on surfaces. Viruclear’s oxidising action breaks down this biofilm, and wiping helps lift it away. Once the sanitising process is complete, Viruclear breaks down naturally into hydrogen and oxygen, leaving no harmful chemical residue behind.
Application Methods
Viruclear 20L is versatile across three main application methods:
- Spray & Wipe – Dilute 1:15 with cold water (or use a 30ml plunger to dispense 60ml of product from a 5L container for a 1L bottle). Spray onto the surface and allow 60 seconds of contact time, then wipe with a clean cloth and allow to air dry. Gloves are highly recommended.
- Pour Application – Dilute 1:15 with cold water and pour onto hard surfaces. Spread evenly with a clean cloth, allow 60 seconds of contact time, then remove excess with a damp cloth. Gloves are highly recommended.
- Bulk Spray for Large Surface Areas – Dilute 1:15 with cold water and load into a backpack or pump-up sprayer. Apply thoroughly to surfaces and allow to air dry. Gloves and a face mask are recommended, and the sprayer should be thoroughly rinsed after use.
For surfaces with heavy soiling, a pre-clean is recommended before sanitising. In situations involving known viral or bacterial contamination, a stronger 1:10 dilution should be used.
