Formulated Against Coronaviruses

Fast-Acting, Low-Residue Formula

Sanitiser performance comes down to two things: concentration and contact time. Lab testing has shown 0.5% hydrogen peroxide solutions can be effective against coronaviruses in as little as 60 seconds, with efficacy improving the longer the solution stays in contact with the surface. Viruclear is designed to leave minimal residue, so in most cases there’s no need to rinse. Where time permits, a wipe-down with a damp cloth after application helps lift any biofilm — the protective layer bacteria and viruses can build up on surfaces. Viruclear’s oxidising action breaks this biofilm down, and wiping clears it away. Once sanitising is complete, the product naturally breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen.

Three Ways to Apply

Spray & Wipe – Dilute 1:15 with cold water (a 30ml plunger dispenses a 60ml dose from a 5L container for refilling 1L bottles). Spray onto the surface, allow 60 seconds’ contact time, then wipe clean with a fresh cloth and let air dry. Gloves recommended.
Pour Application – Dilute 1:15 with cold water, pour directly onto the surface, and spread evenly with a clean cloth. Allow 60 seconds’ contact time before wiping away any excess with a damp cloth. Gloves recommended.
Bulk Spray for Larger Areas – Dilute 1:15 with cold water into a backpack or pump sprayer for wider coverage. Apply thoroughly and allow to air dry. Gloves and a face mask are recommended, and sprayers should be rinsed out thoroughly after use.

Heavily soiled surfaces should be pre-cleaned before sanitising for best results. Where known viral or bacterial contamination is present, step up to a 1:10 dilution for extra strength.

Directions for use:

The efficacy of any bactericide/virucide is a function of the concentration of the sanitiser and the contact time. Whilst laboratory results have shown 0.5% hydrogen peroxide to be effective on coronaviruses in as little as 60 seconds, the longer the contact time the greater the efficacy. Viruclear has been designed to leave minimal residue so in most instances it can be left on the surface and not rinsed. However, if time allows the surface can be wiped with a damp cloth. This will help remove any biofilm present. Biofilms build up on most surfaces and help protect bacteria and viruses. The oxidising nature of Viruclear helps breakdown the biofilm and wiping the surface helps remove it. Once the oxidisation/sanitising process has taken place and killed bacteria and viruses, Viruclear will breakdown to hydrogen and oxygen.

APPLICATION:

Spray n Wipe Application – The use of gloves is highly recommended. Dilute Viruclear 1:15 (or use a 30ml plunger to dispense 60ml of product from 5L container for a 1L bottle) with cold water. Spray onto surface and allow 60 seconds of contact time for full sanitising action to take place. Wipe surface with clean cloth to remove any moisture and allow to air dry.
Pour Application – The use of gloves is highly recommended. Dilute Viruclear 1:15 (or use a 30ml plunger to dispense 60ml of product from 5L container for a 1L bottle) with cold water and pour onto hard surfaces. With a clean cloth move the solution across the entire surface to be sanitised. Allow 60 seconds of contact time before removing excess situation with a damp cloth.
Bulk Spray Large Surface Areas – The use of gloves and face mask is highly recommended. Dilute Viruclear 1:15 (or use a 30ml plunger to dispense 60ml of product from 5L container for a 1L bottle) with cold water and pour into a backpack or pump up sprayer. Spray surfaces to be sanitised thoroughly with Viruclear solution and allow to air dry. Thoroughly rinse sprayer after use.

Please Note: Surfaces that show large amounts of gross soiling will need an initial pre-clean before a final sanitising step.

In situations where there is a known viral or bacterial contamination a 1:10 dilution should be used.E25
